New Laptop

Something I should have thought of before. Instead of blowing my money on my extravagant computer, I settle for the Dell Inspiron. Oh my wow! Nothing I have ever experienced has shouldered me to go for a computer this cheap and I'm glad I finally got tired of just and iPad and fessed up.

New blog and new things coming soon!

Stories

Stories.

Without imagination, as dark and omnipotent as it is, I'd have nothing to look forward to. I love to read. It's the scent of the printed ink on the pages that calls to me and as of late, that hasn't happened. Not with iBooks and Kindle. They save paper and money so I suppose I could like them. I don't understand those who lie so easily stating that they have no rhythm with words. I am so bloody tired of that line! You can speak, if you can speak, you can write!

I'm far from being a motivational speaker. I suppose I was never that great at those things anyway. I am good at what I know. I can tell you what all thos books will repetitively word continuously in one hundred different forms. Hell, I can tell you what you will spend thousands of dollars in to listen to repetitive reports and intricate ways to repeat their words, much like I've optioned above. I've read the books, watched the documentaries and I've just now realized how much time is on my hands and it is absolutely astounding!

To write, read the subject of your interest, jot down notes, read some more. Do not plagiarize. Yada, yada, yada. I can honestly say that this is all there is to it. For those who want to be writers, sweetie pick up a book and learn to speed read. It's wonderful and you can finish two and a half novels in a day, I do so all the time. It's like those reading test they gave you in school where you had to read a certain amount of words in a minute to pass. I've an IQ of 223, I don't believe I need to take any more of those crazy test. The reading is your research. It's the same as if you want to become a doctor, you must read. Reading is the fundamental of everything this world deals with so don't complain because without it, your IQ would consists of this, and the, and but.

I find I like people, sort of. Without people, there'd be no stories but if men were blue, oceans green and trees pink and we had a lavender sky, we'd call our own selves aliens. I for one, know damn well I'm no alien and all these do at one point take on these colours. colours are magnificent hues of our begotten rainbow. I am not going to find the end of it. Things that are meant to be known have been provided to us, why can we not accept the gifts we have been given without the idea of upsurping the advanced technology we have with a monstrosity that in the end will: take over, enslave us, kill us and declare themselves the dominant race? I suppose I sound a bit crazy but I am well justified in my thoughts, by my beliefs at the very least. Artificial Intelligence is a no. Go find a damn alien, I'd rather be elliminated by something unknown to me than something I helped in creation of.

Stories.

Have we noticed how they are passed down through generations and change? Words become slurred, some forgotten and tons of things erased. This is the reason why I believe there is a such things as longevity and immortality. I like to believe that there is some truth in rumours, there always have been and it just takes one person to believe that we're not alone on planet Earth to prove it.

FUN FACT: Did you known that vampirism is a disease? A patient must undergo regular blood transfusions in order to remain alive. The things hidden from us.

My stories are a bit much, I suppose and plot, characters and dynamics grow as it progresses. Planning causes writer's block. When you write, you write the words your characters clamour up you to say. You are their mouth, not their creator. Have a conversation with them, watch them even after your telling is done, you will find that you prefer them to the humans you are acquainted with, knowledgable of and despise. You cannot despise them, temporary hatred and all time love will ground you through as you write what they direct you to say. Your characters hold pieces of you and if you aren't too careful, killing them may tear a part of you out with them. It is this reason you must create them to be real. Your readers, you as a reader, must feel a connection with your characters that you want your audience to feel. It is through your emotions that you feed your reader's.

I've decided I needed something besides Inject to keep me alive. As such, I've decided to begin another book or so, maybe two. Two ideas have come to mind and with that, I'll share with you. You do have a choice in which one you'd like for me to begin first. I will list as much information on the book as I have it now, staged with no heading and few words that grace the page.

I believe this is how I will choose my stories, asking my readers. You guys are awesome, this blog has had over 450 pageviews since beginning, it's more than some get in a year. Yes, I did remove the Blogger Search Bar, I just didn't like it. It actually hasn't been on here ever since I first edited the site, not the text, be warned.

The reads on Wattpad are awesome! I don't have many fans or votes but that lets me know that I have something a lot of other authors don't want to admit they are without, Heart and true passion. I find I like writing and managing this blog and therefore, I plan to keep up with it. It makes me happy, venting and whatnot about the writing world.

I will take writing request, go to my About tab here and click on the word request. E-mail me the type of story you'd like to see written rather it be long or short, even a short story no more than fifteen Wattpad pages, I will do. Just write me all about what you'd like to see, read and whatnot.

Y'all feel free to say whatever you have to say, I'll play e-mail tag with ya' if that's what you crave. Just be you and ask what you need be answered.

Yours Sincerely,
Summer Lynn Hart

Some Things

Happy August First y'all! Happy Birthday to whoever you are!

Everyday is someone's birthday so we all should say Happy Birthday to someone because some people never hear it. All is fair in love and war, until somebody gets shot which happens more often than not.

It absolutely astounds me at the gal of some people. What I need to understand is why put your work out there, why ask for reads, support in general just to think you're too good an author to allow someone to read your damned book in the end? Here's a news flash for you pompous ass authors, just about anyone can write!

And when I say anyone, I mean anyone!

What you all should know is that I'm a bit schizo, multiple personalities and such but inside one being, myself. No, I'm not medically diagnosed but I guarantee, it won't ever happen. Every time I step foot in a psychiatrist's office and they ask those impersonal, touring questions, I feel the need to counter with some of my own. I suppose I like the look of utter disbelief on their shell-shocked faces.

Some Things like airheads who've attended writers workshops should know is that you're all one in the same. Writing comes from an imagination you just don't have. Apparently not being as how you're dying to become what people consider perfect and what I want you to do sweetie, is take a good look in the mirror, close your eyes and daydream. That's all the inspiration you need.

I'm a full time child, sister, and loudmouth, graciously so and I can't deny it. I love being Summer, well whoever the hell I am. It'd surprise you to know that all I am is a proud-to-be alleged nerdy girl who lives in a big house with lazy ass people. Don't we all? I could never and will never write anything "Self Help". If you think you need one of those, get off your scrawny ass and do something about yourself! Don't be a victim because damnit, you're ever so more than that.

I believe some authors need a touch of reality because all that water their swimming in in that big tank up there is sure to crash down, glass be shattered and bodies lay bloody and bruised in the aftermath of their ever so fluorescent glow. This is why Steven King, Jodi Piccoult, even Jane Austen and Ernest Hemingway dwindled to a dusty hardback sitting on a shelf with tens of millions other books that we pass and pay no attention to. Sometimes praise isn't a good thing, sometimes praise makes you ignorant, not as receiving.

I'm a big girl, proudly in all aspects of the word. I'm not one of those people that's gonna stand there and say I love something I truly couldn't care less about. I'm not one of those women who sit up and say they love horses because they're beautiful creatures. They have big teeth, make way to much noise and can stomp me to death. I rest my case. And for all you goody-two-shoes, we all know why your God fearing ass chose a horse and not iBod. Caught ya didn't I?

You wanna be a writer? Sit your ass down with some paper, a pen, a pencil and a big ass eraser. Get some flashcards and find some tack pins. Don't you dare erase an idea you have because God knows one day you'll think back on it and try to remember it and won't recall a single damn word but you will see the image replaying on an endless cycle in your head. That's the way of life sweetie, roll with it and keep everything you've ever written because that little bunny you wrote about when you were two, could make some new two year old's day.

Anyway, Some Things should be watched. The things people say for instance. Trust me, no one's stealing your work to make themself famous. Truth out there, I'd steal ya damn work. I will hack into your damn computer and download the file and those password protected pictures you have on your Mac or Windows PC. I'm not stealing it for personal gain. Fans do that shit all the time, appreciate the free publicity.

Trust me, no one's going to write anything that is worth remembering if they don't be themselves. Sometimes you'll rise and most times you'll fall but let a lesson be known, one book does not make the author. It is the flow of an author's words like the turmoil tours the Nile and the soothing lullaby of a character's tumultuous banter as well as that one person out of ten who will like your story that will make you want to write your ass off to please them. An author knows not their words until they are truly written which is why a true author must so often fall back and re-read the dozen of chapters they have read through tens of times when they have finished that magnificent inprinted work on a screen before them or on the still drying ink, that makes that author know that they have truly joined the world of the living. When an author can recite their written words without an uh, or a stutter, then you know for a simple fact that this author is not who they should be. No work is perfect, no author is unique. We have all taken something that has been passed down the centuries and the only thing our own is our memories.

Let that be a lesson to you all and have a great day!

Yours Sincerely,
Summer Lynn Hart
